Dr Stephan Onggo
Associate Professor of Business Analytics at the Centre for Operational Research, Management Sciences and Information Systems (CORMSIS), Southampton Business School, University of Southampton, UK. His research interest is in simulation modelling with applications in the food supply chain and health care. He is the PI of an EPSRC funded project Relief-OpS to design a resilient relief food supply network for natural disasters in West Java Indonesia using optimisation-via-simulation. Currently, he is supervising PhD students, working on real-time simulation optimisation in an emergency department and the automotive industry, as well as behavioural modelling and simulation in the food supply chain, tourism, and project management. He is the associate editor for the Journal of Simulation, the chair of The OR Society’s Simulation SIG and a member of The OR Society’s General Counsel. He is actively involved in the Winter Simulation Conference as the track coordinator of Agent-Based Simulation.
